I used to think true freedom meant complete independence, loads of travel and surfing the wild sea.
I still appreciate my independence, daydream about and love traveling, and miss all the days and months that go by without catching a wave, but I’ve been learning new versions of freedom the past few years, and I’m learning to appreciate their satisfaction just as much.
Running a small business requires a lot of focus, energy,, time, and self-discipline. Within that space, I find creative bursts and an invigorating passion knowing that the more I invest in Tillage the more freedom that is cultivated for humans with the greatest of needs. Helping bridge gaps toward freedom is more rewarding than I can describe.
There’s something about being around horses that stokes my freedom, too. I was fortunate enough to have a horse-filled weekend for the first time in a while.
